It's funny how people always compare how much they drink. What I don't understand is why drinking always turns into a competition. Everyone's body is different so who cares how much we drink. For the past six months I have been on medication and it has been only recently since I have come off it. During this time certain people would call me: wimp, wuss and an all round person who could not handle their drinks. Well tonight my friends I proved them wrong. While they were being sick in the toilet, I was having fun. Living it up.

Basically what I am getting to is what is your opinion on drinking culture in this day and age?

  1. i'm amazed at how bars don't price their drinks. makes a person consider what they really want.

  3. just feels natural to be drinking something. last night i tried to get water and couldn't find a cup, or i would have had that. people just need to be drinking something when they're socializing.

  4. Drinking culture is getting out of hand, people trying to show off way to much at the end get a second date with thier dinner.

  6. i think its stupid, why get drunk and sick? why drink anything except for it tasting good, and on that note, i stand with eat/drink what's good for you, not what tastes good, like fast food.

  8. People is always on a competition, drinking is considered "cool" between the young ones, so they compete to see who is cooler.
Don't worry, when they grow up, they will realize (hopefully) how retarded it is.

  9. I see no point in drinking. I hate sour and acid tasting stuff, dont you? And it costs so much money. I really dont get what all the hype is about or why people think it is so cool or fun to get drunk. I like rum and coke and anything that tastes sweet enough to conceal the alcohol, but still not worth paying for, might as well get a smoothie. Seriously, I'm 23 and I just dont get why all my friends think its so cool.

  11. I respect others having fun drinking, but I don't understand why people need to get drunk every week. Don't they have better things to do with their lifes next day?

  13. I never get people boasting about how much can they drink before getting drunk - doesn't it suck? I mean what's the purpose of drinking in this context? Not getting drunk? Spending shit-ton of money on liquor?
If you drink alcohol for the taste then You probably won't drink a lot anyway. If you drink it to get the party vibe then the less you need the better.
